Mission

	Variations of "pine tree" have been used by pioneers and systems. North Carolina is known as the "Pine State" and the Christmas Tree Capital of the World. Loosely translated as, "way of hand and foot, smashing or destroying with hands and feet", is Taekwon-Do within the tree. The calligraphy within the red circle is "Path of the Power of Love".
	Unified International Taekwon-Do Federation, Grand Master Hwang Kwang Sung, president, who remains active in the advancement of Taekwon-Do. He is one of 3 Grandmasters in the world to have been promoted to IX Dan by the founder, General Choi Hong Hi, who was Grand Master Hwang's teacher.

MISSION
Martial arts programs dedicated to the instruction and advancement of authentic TaeKwon-Do and HapKiDo for the benefit of its practitioners in the Research Triangle Park (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary), North Carolina.

SELF DEFENSE
Ho-Sin-Sul (self defense techniques) instuction; grappling, falling, ground defense, survival. Self-Defense training is offered to citizens who wish to learn. Directed to age of class or student.

PURPOSE
"The utmost purpose of Taekwon-Do is to eliminate fighting by discouraging the stronger’s oppression of the weaker with power that must be based on humanity, justice, morality, wisdom and faith, thus helping to build a better and more peaceful world."1 (emphasis added)
